Orbit Group is delighted to announce that we have successfully raised £3,000,000 in funding, a major milestone that underlines the strong support for our mission to provide affordable, high-quality homes and build sustainable communities. Established in 1967 by two visionary individuals on a park bench, Orbit has grown into one of the UK’s leading not-for-profit housing groups, driven by the enduring goal of tackling homelessness. Today, we proudly manage around 47,000 affordable homes across the Midlands, East, and South East, and we are continually expanding our reach by building approximately 1,000 new affordable homes every year. This new infusion of capital will be strategically reinvested to further enhance the quality and safety of our homes and to support the communities we serve. By bolstering our infrastructure and community services, the funding will help us not only maintain but also elevate the standard of living for our residents, ensuring that every home remains a beacon of hope and security. Additionally, these funds will empower us to innovate and develop new projects designed to address the evolving challenges of affordable housing, thereby accelerating our impact in reducing homelessness and fostering resilient communities.
