North Texas Food Bank Raises $1M to Power Expansion Toward 92 Million Nutritious Meals by 2025

We are excited to announce that the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) has successfully raised $1,000,000 to support its mission of providing hunger relief across a 13-county service area in North Texas. As one of the top-ranked nonprofit hunger-relief organizations in the region, NTFB operates an impressive state-of-the-art volunteer and distribution center at the Perot Family Campus in Plano. This new funding round is a significant milestone that comes on the heels of a tremendously successful year in which the Food Bank, in partnership with member agencies from the Feeding Network, provided access to almost 77 million nutritious meals—translating to more than 200,000 meals per day to hungry children, seniors, and families in need. The additional $1,000,000 will be strategically invested in increasing food distribution efforts with a clear goal to reach 92 million nutritious meals annually by 2025. This infusion of support will help NTFB to enhance its operational capacity, expand collaborations with local community partners, and implement innovative strategies to address the evolving challenges of hunger in North Texas.
