Yolo Farm To Fork Secures $10,000 Funding to Expand Farm-to-Table Education Initiatives

Yolo Farm To Fork is thrilled to announce the successful raising of $10,000 in funding, which will bolster our dedicated efforts in fostering a sustainable farm-to-table food system within our community. Our mission is deeply rooted in educating the public, particularly children, on the importance of local food sources and environmental stewardship. With this funding, we aim to enhance our existing programs that support edible school gardens and provide engaging, garden-centered, and farm-based education to students throughout Yolo County. Currently, we have an impactful presence, reaching over 10,000 kids in 67 schools with our initiatives, which include school gardens, farm trips, and educational grants.
