WaWa Secures $591,165 Grant Funding for Educational and Medical Initiatives in Remote Andean Communities of Peru

We are thrilled to announce that WaWa, a dedicated charity established in 2003, has raised an astounding $591,165 to further its mission of providing educational opportunities and improved medical care for some of the most disadvantaged children living in remote Andean communities in Peru. Officially registered with the Charity Commission in 2006, WaWa has continually worked to bring about meaningful change in the lives of these children, who often face significant barriers to education and healthcare. This latest influx of funds will bolster our ongoing projects, allowing us to expand our reach and impact. A dedicated team of Trustees in the UK collaborates closely with volunteers on the ground in Cusco to meticulously assess potential projects, ensuring that every dollar raised goes directly to areas of greatest need. These funds will be instrumental in establishing new educational programs, providing essential medical supplies, and supporting infrastructure improvements in communities that have historically been overlooked. As we look to the future, we remain committed to transparency and community involvement, with volunteers overseeing the distribution and implementation of these funds to ensure projects are completed effectively and sustainably.
