UnoPlatform Secures €2.54M Seed Investment to Propel BioPlatform’s Legacy in Organic Agriculture

Building on the solid foundation laid by BioPlatform—an innovative initiative known as "O Legado da Informação e Divulgação da Agricultura Biológica"—UnoPlatform draws its inspiration from a rich history of connecting certified producers with discerning consumers. BioPlatform, created as part of a pioneering project funded by IDE, IP-RAM M1420-03-0651-FEDER-000043 and managed by New Organic Planet, Lda., set a benchmark in the bioproduct sector with its dynamic offerings including ShopBio, UniBio, InfoBio, BioEvent, and even culinary recipe resources. Operating from its headquarters in Funchal with a branch in Coimbra and expanding internationally to Spain between 2020 and 2021, BioPlatform was celebrated for its role in empowering sustainable trade and fostering community through shared knowledge of organic practices. With this infusion of 2,540,000 in funding, UnoPlatform is poised to take the next leap forward. The funds will be strategically allocated to enhancing digital infrastructure, fostering innovative platform features, and extending our market reach to support emerging opportunities in the organic sector. This investment is not only a vote of confidence but also a catalyst for further integration of advanced technologies aimed at streamlining the connection between producers and consumers.
