At the heart of this innovation is Algica®, the world’s first diatom algae shell-based material, celebrated for its porous silica structure and unrivaled light-altering, absorptive, and binding properties. Already a top-performing, certified organic ingredient in personal care products, Algica® has made its mark in regions such as the Nordics, the US, and Australia, and further applications continue to expand as the material gains global recognition. This new capital injection is set to fuel multiple facets of Swedish Algae Factory's strategic expansion.
