With its pioneering 5G mobile network—the fastest and most reliable in the country—the company has transformed Swiss connectivity. Sunrise became the first provider to introduce 5G in April 2019 and now provides high-speed 5G coverage to more than 713 cities and towns, with up to 2 Gbit/s speeds, and basic 5G services covering over 90% of the Swiss population. Complementing its advanced 5G rollout, the company also offers superior 4G/LTE coverage across 96% of Switzerland, reaching 99.98% of the population and enabling 4G+ speeds of up to 900 Mbit/s. The new capital injection will be strategically deployed to expand and enhance Sunrise’s already impressive state-of-the-art telecommunications network.
