Subject Secures $29.4M Series A Funding to Transform Digital Learning for Middle & High Schools

At Subject, we have built our platform from the ground up, forging a robust solution based on extensive feedback from educators who face the unique challenges of teaching today’s digital-native students. Teachers emphasized the need for more effective ways to engage students, effortlessly track progress, and ultimately elevate district-wide outcomes. In response, we created an engaging, flexible learning ecosystem that offers bite-sized video content, flexible language support, comprehensive homework assistance, and seamless progress monitoring tools—all complemented by in-depth analytics to boost graduation rates and student success. This substantial funding infusion will allow us to accelerate our product development and expand our offerings to reach even more districts that value meaningful innovations in education. It will also support further enhancement of our platform’s features, ensuring that we continue delivering measurable results as validated by top accreditations such as Cognia and WASC, as well as industry approvals from UC-AG, NCAA, and College Board.
