Speak for the Trees Boston Secures $116,000 in Funding to Grow Urban Forest Equity in Boston

As a community-driven nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to increasing the size, health, and equity of Boston's tree canopy, a mission that holds particular importance for underserved communities that often lack adequate green spaces. This significant funding will enable us to expand our public engagement initiatives, where we educate residents about the benefits of urban trees, and bolster our tree planting and stewardship programs. With these resources, we aim to plant hundreds of new trees in areas that need it the most, ensuring that all Bostonians can experience the environmental and health benefits that come from a thriving urban forest.
