Skin Analytics is excited to announce that we have raised £20,000,000 in funding, marking a major milestone in our mission to create a world where no one dies from skin cancer. This significant investment is a testament to the confidence our investors have in our revolutionary AI medical device, DERM, and the groundbreaking impact it is already having on the early detection and treatment of skin cancer. Since 2020, we have proudly collaborated with 18 NHS partners across both primary and secondary care, establishing the first and only AI skin cancer pathway within the NHS. Our innovative DERM solution is the only Class IIa UKCA marked and Class III CE marked AI as a Medical Device for skin cancer, providing clinicians with a reliable, rapid, and accurate diagnostic tool that supports the early discharge of benign lesions, alleviating severe outpatient backlogs, and freeing up essential dermatology capacity to focus on patients with potentially life-threatening conditions. This capital will be used to further enhance our technology, refine our AI algorithms, and expand deployment across more healthcare systems both within the UK and internationally. By reducing the need for face-to-face consultations by up to 95% in secondary care, our solution is directly contributing to the sustainability of health systems and significantly improving patient outcomes. We are also excited to bolster our proven programs, including Bupa and Vitality’s remote skin assessment service.
