Samunnati Secures ₹269 Cr in Funding to Unlock India’s Trillion-Dollar Agricultural Potential

This milestone marks yet another step in our mission to drive collective growth and prosperity across the agri ecosystem. As an open agri network, Samunnati has been instrumental in transforming agriculture by leveraging technology and innovative partnerships to serve every link in the value chain—from agri commerce to agri finance. With this new funding injection, we will further strengthen our efforts to empower our 1,500+ affiliated Farmer Collectives, whose combined member base of over 6 million farmers is at the heart of our operations. Headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, our robust presence spans more than 100 agri value chains across 22 states in India, and our journey has already powered over $1 billion in gross transaction value. The newly raised capital will be primarily channeled into scaling up our technology-enabled interventions, expanding collaborative partnerships, and accelerating the reach and efficiency of our innovative agri solutions. This strategic investment is set to enhance our ability to streamline agri finance processes and boost market access for smallholder farmers, ensuring that the benefits of growth are equitably shared throughout the network.
