Planting Seeds of Hope: Trust Links Secures £500K to Empower South-East Essex Communities

Trust Links is thrilled to announce that we have successfully raised £500,000 in new funding to amplify our impact across South-East Essex. As a local independent mental health and wellbeing charity, our mission has always been to support those facing difficulties, unpaid carers, and the wider community by delivering inclusive services in some of the most deprived urban areas. This significant financial boost reinforces our commitment to creating safe and welcoming green spaces and structured programs that engage, empower, and transform the lives of local people. The funding will be dedicated to the expansion and enhancement of our wide range of programmes, including Therapeutic Gardening through our Growing Together projects at sites in Westcliff, Shoeburyness, Thundersley, and Rochford, as well as at St Laurence Orchard. It will also accelerate our work in counselling and peer support activities for carers within Southend Borough, further develop the Recovery and wellbeing workshops and courses offered through the REACH Recovery College, and strengthen the delivery of specialist advice and support at the REACH Wellbeing Hub. By bolstering these vital services, Trust Links is committed to meeting the growing demand for mental health support and community development initiatives. This funding not only enables us to build on our successful legacy but also paves the way for innovative approaches to address mental health challenges and promote overall wellbeing.
