Neurovalens is recognized for its FDA-cleared Modius technology, which uses small, safe electrical pulses to influence deep parts of the brain non-invasively, removing the need for surgical implantation and allowing for earlier intervention in treatment pathways. The company is actively working to release several versions of its technology. Modius Sleep is the first product slated for release in October 2024, with Modius Calm also under development. Additionally, clinical trial research is ongoing for products intended to treat PTSD, diabetes, and depression. Modius Sleep is a non-invasive, non-drug, physician-prescribed medical device aimed at improving sleep for patients with chronic insomnia. Worn as a headset for 30 minutes each evening, it stimulates sleep neurons deep in the brain through electrical vestibular nerve stimulation (VeNS), influencing areas like the hypothalamus and brainstem that control circadian rhythm and sleep patterns.
