NAASD Secures $1 Million Grant to Empower American Freedmen and Advance Reparations Efforts

We are proud to announce that the National Assembly of American Slavery Descendants (NAASD) has successfully raised $1,000,000 in our latest funding round, a milestone that marks a robust investment in our mission to secure compensatory reparations for Black Americans descended from US slaves. As a dedicated Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization led by American Freedmen, NAASD is devoted to repairing the systemic inequities that have long impacted our communities. This significant funding will be strategically allocated to expand our national education and training programs that focus on civic engagement and self-advocacy, two critical pillars in driving lasting change. Our programs will provide vital resources on the legislative process, American civic rights, policy writing, non-profit formation, political sciences, and more, ensuring that members of our community are well-equipped to advocate for their interests at every level of government. The infusion of funds will not only enhance our current initiatives but also allow us to broaden our reach in engaging African American communities across the nation.
