Monument Lab Secures $100K Grant to Transform Public Monuments into Spaces of Justice and Belonging

Monument Lab is thrilled to announce that we have raised $100,000 in support of our mission to reshape public monuments as spaces for justice, healing, and community dialogue. As a nonprofit public art, history, and design studio based in Philadelphia, Monument Lab is committed to addressing the painful legacies of our past by transforming how monuments are conceived, interpreted, and experienced. This generous funding will empower us to continue advancing justice by centering the voices of artists and local changemakers who are instrumental in reimagining our inherited monument landscape—a landscape that too often perpetuates systems of inequality and discord.
