Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Secures $11K Seed Round to Empower Military Youth Education

We are excited to announce that the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation has successfully raised $11,000! As the Nation’s oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military children, the Foundation has dedicated over 60 years to empowering the educational journeys of those whose lives have been intertwined with the sacrifices of our armed forces. Since its inception in 1962, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than 50,000 scholarships, totaling upwards of $185,000,000, to the children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen. This latest funding milestone reinforces the Foundation’s commitment to supporting post-high school education for qualified children of honorably discharged, retired, and active-duty Marines, while giving special attention to those whose parent has been wounded or killed in action. The $11,000 raised will further enhance the Foundation’s mission and enable additional flexibility in addressing emerging educational needs, ensuring that every eligible student has the opportunity to pursue higher education without the burden of financial constraints.
