Marie Curie Secures £3.7M Funding to Transform End-of-Life Care in the UK

We are thrilled to announce that Marie Curie has successfully raised £3,700,000 to further advance our mission as the UK’s leading end of life charity. This remarkable funding milestone enables us to deepen our commitment to providing hospice care and support, pioneering research, and impactful campaigns for those facing terminal illnesses. At Marie Curie, we understand the profound challenges encountered during the final stages of life, and every donation and partnership pushes us closer to ensuring that no one has to face these moments alone. This significant investment will be channeled into enhancing our hospice services, bolstering our expert research initiatives, and amplifying our national campaigns that bring much-needed awareness and practical assistance to families, patients, and communities. Our funds will support not only the essential in-person care provided by our dedicated teams but also bolster the availability of our support lines, available Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm, at 0800 090 2309. By expanding these resources, we can offer timely advice, emotional support, and specialist guidance to anyone in need—whether answering questions about terminal illness, offering comfort, or simply being there when a friendly voice is needed.
