Mallee Track Health and Community Service Secures $50K Grant to Strengthen Innovative Rural Integrated Services

Mallee Track Health and Community Service (MTHCS) is thrilled to announce that we have successfully raised $50,000 in funding—a significant milestone for our organization and the communities we serve. As an innovative integrated Multi-Purpose Service located in the heart of the Mallee in North West Victoria, our mission is to address the unique challenges faced by rural areas where traditional market dynamics have fallen short and workforce shortages are common. Through our collaborative approach, we bring together public, private, and philanthropic partners to ensure that essential services reach every corner of our expansive 18,000 square kilometre catchment, including areas such as Ouyen, Murrayville, Underbool, Patchewollock, Sea Lake, and Manangatang. This new investment will directly support the continued enhancement of our integrated service model, which spans a broad spectrum of care—from early childhood education and care to residential aged care. By focusing on community-identified needs through strategic planning and extensive consultation, we are able to tailor our services to fit the changing dynamics of our region. The funding will strengthen our capacity to innovate and expand service delivery across different age groups and life stages, ensuring that every individual benefits from high-quality, accessible care. Furthermore, it will support our dedicated workforce, who work hand in hand with volunteers, making a real difference every day.
