KHIMOD, a pioneering French climate-tech company, has successfully raised €23,000,000 in its latest funding round, marking a significant milestone in its journey to transform the energy and chemical industries. Focused on creating innovative synthetic molecules—including e-methane, e-methanol, and e-fuels—KHIMOD’s ground-breaking approach combines carbon dioxide reuse and valorization with decarbonized hydrogen, paving the way for cleaner and more sustainable fuels. This fresh capital injection will be primarily used to accelerate the development and commercial deployment of KHIMOD’s proprietary heat exchanger-reactors (HERs), which are manufactured using advanced diffusion bonding techniques and deliver exceptional performance even under extreme temperature and pressure conditions. By expanding its capabilities in flow chemistry and integrating cutting-edge technologies, KHIMOD aims not only to boost synthetic fuel production but also to contribute substantially to the decarbonization of hard-to-abate industries, including air and maritime transport, waste valorization, and traditional chemical processes. The funding is expected to fuel several high-impact projects and collaborative ventures—such as the power-to-gas initiatives Jupiter 1000 and Methycentre, along with SAF production efforts at Avebio—that are designed to revolutionize energy transition on a global scale.
