The newly acquired funding will primarily support the development of the Energy Transition Zone—an ambitious 70-hectare green space that is strategically located adjacent to the recently announced £350 million deepwater harbor development at Aberdeen South Harbour. This space is set to become a catalyst for high-value manufacturing, innovation in offshore renewables, and advancements in hydrogen production and carbon capture technologies.
