We are thrilled to announce that the Guinness Enterprise Centre (GEC) has successfully raised 2,860,000 to fuel its mission of fostering entrepreneurial growth and innovation across a diverse range of industries. The GEC is not just a modern office facility in Dublin 8—it is a vibrant ecosystem where forward-thinking entrepreneurs, high-growth companies, investors, and support agencies converge to share ideas and create lasting partnerships. This significant funding infusion will enable GEC to enhance its state-of-the-art facility and expand its comprehensive suite of services, which includes fully staffed reception, round-the-clock security, managed IT services, ample parking, and an on-site café, all designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s dynamic business environment. At GEC, over 120 emerging businesses spanning sectors such as IT, healthcare, telecommunications, publishing, travel and tourism, and more benefit from flexible workspaces—be it private offices, co-working spaces, or virtual office solutions. With the raised funds, GEC plans to further support this vibrant community by increasing opportunities for high-quality networking events, business seminars, hackathons, and startup meetups. The funding will also bolster the one-to-one consultancy support provided via Furthr (formerly Dublin BIC), aiding clients with business plan preparation and access to essential fundraising channels including business angels and seed funds.
