This milestone reinforces the company’s commitment to diversifying social innovation by empowering underrepresented, early-stage entrepreneurs with the critical tools and resources they need to flourish. Built on the belief that genius is equally distributed across communities, Camelback Ventures is dedicated to dismantling the barriers of limited access to funding and mentorship, particularly in communities of color and among women. The recent capital infusion will be strategically deployed to further enhance the Fellowship program, which has already proven its transformative impact by providing 1:1 coaching, key startup funding, and access to invaluable networks and investors. Camelback Fellows—many of whom identify as people of color and/or female—are using these resources to launch and expand innovative social enterprises across the country. From the development of STEM-based social mobile games to launching charter school networks in New Orleans and creating mobile apps that recognize academic excellence, Camelback Fellows have consistently demonstrated their capacity to instigate meaningful change. They have collectively raised over $14 million in additional funding, and for three consecutive years, three or more fellows have been honored in Forbes 30 Under 30, underscoring the exceptional potential and impact of these entrepreneurs. With this new funding, Camelback Ventures is poised to extend its reach further, continuing to invest in groundbreaking ideas that can serve as catalysts for change in communities nationwide.
