Empowering Change: LIVE IN GREEN Secures $50,000 to Drive Sustainable Livelihoods and Environmental Impact

We are thrilled to announce that LIVE IN GREEN, also known as Live in Green Live in Wealth Youth Initiative, has successfully raised UGX 50,000 to further advance our mission. As a refugee-led organization registered as a National NGO in Uganda, LIVE IN GREEN has been dedicated since its founding in 2016, and legally recognized with the Uganda Registration Services Bureau in 2017. With our permanent NGO Certificate obtained in 2019, we have earned the trust and support of communities across Uganda, operating countrywide under registration number 80020000544408 and NGO Certificate number INDR141211806NB. Our relentless commitment is encapsulated in our mission “To Eradicate poverty, Enhance Food Security and Education, while safeguarding the long-term environmental sustainability,” and our vision of creating a well-maintained environment for sustainable livelihoods. This recent funding milestone will significantly empower us to expand our thematic areas, which include Environment, Climate Change, Energy, Livelihoods, Agriculture, Education, and Advocacy. The capital raised will directly support our ongoing and future projects in both Refugee Settlements and urban areas like Kampala, where our work is transforming lives and building resilient communities. Each initiative is carefully designed to address the myriad challenges faced by vulnerable populations while promoting sustainable development. As we continue to invest in community empowerment and environmental integrity, we remain deeply grateful to all our supporters and partners who share this vision. This funding not only marks a major achievement for LIVE IN GREEN but also sets a promising stage for impactful interventions that will create pathways out of poverty and bolster food security and education across the nation.
