Leichhardt Women's Community Health Centre Inc is delighted to announce a significant funding milestone, having secured $4,500,000 in its latest financial round. This substantial investment fortifies our commitment to delivering multidisciplinary health care, counseling, and health education services tailored specifically for women across Sydney’s inner city, inner west, and south western suburbs. With a core focus on trauma-informed and affordable healthcare, the new funds will enable us to broaden our outreach and enhance the quality of services we provide, particularly for women facing complex health challenges or recovering from violence. By reinforcing our existing partnerships with over 200 community organizations, this funding will empower us to extend our network further, ensuring that more women and girls—beyond the current 3,000 who benefit annually—can access our holistic programs. In addition, this investment is pivotal in expanding our mental health support programs, improving our counseling resources, and amplifying our educational initiatives, all designed to nurture resilience and wellbeing.
