Debra, the not-for-profit organization behind the Dublin Marathon and its associated Race Series, has secured $1,000,000 in funding from investors. This series, introduced in 2002, serves as a crucial training pathway for marathon participants and now engages approximately 20,000 individuals each year. Beyond its sporting impact, Debra is noted for its substantial charitable contributions, generating an estimated €9 million annually for charity partners, alongside €26.5 million for the city of Dublin.
