CASCO Charity Organization Shatters Expectations: $1M Raised in a Night of Inspiration and Impact!

CASCO Charity Organization is delighted to announce that it has successfully raised $1,000,000 in its latest funding initiative—a remarkable milestone for our student-run charity. Comprised chiefly of dedicated Telfer School of Management students from the University of Ottawa, CASCO has been the driving force behind impactful charitable events for over 23 years. Our signature annual gala, renowned for its dazzling display of song, dance, and fashion, not only showcases the remarkable talents of Telfer students but also serves as a powerful platform to unite the community. Each year, over 600 tickets are sold out within three weeks, drawing together 200 students, 200 business professionals, and 200 community members, all united by the shared goal of supporting the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and promoting a culture of social responsibility within the business community. The funds raised will bolster CASCO’s ongoing mission to contribute to the well-being of our community by empowering commerce students to apply their business acumen to real-world causes. This milestone amount will be directed toward enhancing the annual gala, expanding our outreach programs, and further elevating our support initiatives for CHEO. By investing in these endeavors, CASCO not only reinforces its commitment to nurturing socially responsible future business leaders but also cements its role as a vital bridge between academic learning and community engagement.
