As Silicon Valley’s oldest seed funding organization, we have always been dedicated to empowering innovative ventures by providing not only financial backing but also invaluable mentorship from our network of over 150 seasoned high-tech executives. This recent infusion of funds will be strategically deployed to support an outstanding startup selected through our rigorous Band Deal Selection Process—a monthly review of more than 50 promising companies. The chosen venture will benefit from a comprehensive evaluation of its business model, growth strategy, and market potential, with the opportunity to tap into the deep expertise of our members, whose illustrious backgrounds include founding companies like Symantec, Logitech, and National Semiconductor, as well as senior roles at industry giants like Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard, and Intuit. Our investment approach has a strong track record, having seeded over 277 companies and celebrating 61 successful M&A exits along with 11 IPOs, which underscores our relentless pursuit of disruptive ideas and breakthrough technologies. The newly raised funds will further enhance our ability to mentor and support visionary entrepreneurs, enabling them to translate bold ideas into transformative ventures that shape the future of technology.
