All Kids Play: KIDSPORTS Secures $125K to Expand Multi-Sport Opportunities for Every Child

KIDSPORTS is thrilled to announce that we have raised $125,000 in our latest funding round, marking an exciting new chapter in our longstanding commitment to youth sports and community development. Since our founding in 1953, KIDSPORTS has proudly served as the only multi-sport provider in Lane County, offering nine distinct sports throughout every calendar year. Our mission, founded on the inspiring philosophy of "ALL KIDS PLAY," has always been to create inclusive, positive team sports experiences that transcend boundaries of race, religion, creed, sex, ability, or financial status. This significant funding will enhance our ability to serve our community by not only expanding our existing programs but also by deepening family engagement, community involvement, and sportsmanship among young participants. In the past year alone, we were able to provide more than $228,494 in scholarships to over 4,000 kids, ensuring that financial barriers do not stand in the way of youth development and active lifestyles. With the new investment, we are committed to further developing recreational opportunities, refining athletic coaching and competition strategies, and establishing additional scholarship programs that safeguard the principle that every child deserves a chance to learn free from exclusion. These funds will also support facility improvements, coach training initiatives, and outreach programs aimed at strengthening our inclusive community network.
